Thank goodness tomorrow is wednesday

Ah tomorrow is a day off for some reason this week is already flying by. I went into the studio this moring got out a piece of silver and went and banged it on the patio pavers for some new texture think of something Bohemian again maybe earrings or a ring found some stones I had for saved back umm well lets see what pops out tomorrow so stay tuned check the blog tomorrow when we will discover what is on the bench plate being made in the studio. Hey that's a great name for new creations the "BENCH PLATE". STAY TUNED

Tuesday up bright and early

Ah good morning folks I am up early today as I will be going to a regular job today instead of having fun in the studio. yuck! I stayed up way to late last night putting cabochons on the sister site atticktreasures on etsy. Since the move here seems like everything is in lost land somewhere these cabochons were some of the last I had finished at the farm. The Chrysocolla is fantastic as always, my miner friend sends the greatest stuff to me it's always so hard to choose. Actually we should all have this stone as it is said to relieve tension and stress sounds like a stone prozac to me. Cleopatra was said to always carry one with her history says , it's suppose to make ill tempered people tolerant and sensitive umm interesting huh? Sunday night again

I am so sorry I have been really busy doing all kinds of crazy stuff this week. I am working on doing a little bit of riveting in addition to soldering. Riveting is something I have not done very much so I decided to add it on some of my jewelry pieces. Well it is fun sorta of and this comes from a chick who likes no loves using the torch. The only part I really don't like is sawing the little tube thing what a pain, other than that I can see where it will come in handy with other stuff I do. I have alot of ufo's hanging on that I need to finish so I am off to do them this week. As you will see in the pictures I added alot of texture to this necklace I have always wanted a thicker side to the back plates so I think I have found a way for this to happen. I love the amber beads although they were terribly expensive I love the warmth they give off when you rub them and they are good for metabolic disorders, asthma, arthritis and strengthening heart muscles. It is said that the color of Amber is to give you succes, we hope so.

At this time I would like to ask everyone no matter what you religion is please ask for my aunt who is very dear to me for her remaining time bring her lots of joy and happiness, no pain no discomfort, that her remaining time with us be blessed with lots of love and laughter and joy to enable her to deal with this issue that is facing her and may the sun always shine upon her face.

Sadly grief is once again coming to my family sad as it is to deal with, we must prepare ourselves to loose one who is wonderful and very special to us.

It's Sunday Nite

And all is fine here at the casa. I have had an exciting week, met some new people, made some new friends, ate some of the best pizza at Ron and Sam's house it was fantastic. I met Frank's sons wonderful wives and parents of each had birthday parties and the best news of all is Daisy has a sister. Yes our little Daisy has a sister named Bella who is part Sheppard and red heeler. They are affectionately called "The Girls". They are getting along wonderful and Daisy is having so much fun playing with Bella so now I will have two studio assistants.
Have you ever stopped and thought about coincidences in your life, how things happen to you and you wonder why? About how all things seem to work out, if you do wonder about this lets discuss it please I am quite curious about how your life is affected by them and do you believe there is no such thing as coincidences in life. If you don't want to post here please email me and let me know what you think.
On another note I am going to do some pieces with cold connection this week been along time since I have done any but a ring design is stuck in my head so here it goes. Stay tuned for results this week and please tell me how you feel about coincidences.

Tuesday is almost gone in the fading daylight

The was a very hard Tuesday lots of things to do some fun some not. Looking for some shark teeth to make a necklace for my grandson I have placed it somewhere , can't seem to remember where I put it so I wouldn't loose it. Oh well that is life so tomorrow I will go to Five Points here is Jax and hopefully find some to make his necklace or he is going to be upset with his grannie. I have been working once again on the fusing techniques, I want to make a braclet with alot of different fused components on it, I would like to implement brass, copper, silver and gold. I was thinking of Halloween coming and what am I going to put on the etsy site? Will have to think on that one. Well it's getting late and tomorrow I am helping out at the bookstore thing so long and please comment please tell what it going on in your life and if you are creating what are you creating post some pics to me . Ah They Are Done

Well I finally finished the pretty earrings, they are long and sexy and have alot of movement to them. I like it when the earrings I wear brush up against my face almost like a caress. Long dangle earrings always look so good on people don't you think? Don't they make you feel sexy when you wear them? I cut and cabbed the cabochons for these earrings. I have always wanted to make a pair of fraternal earrings you know the kind that are sorta alike but not really, some don't even have the same stones maybe just the design is similar but the stones are totally different. Anyway I finally did it and it feels really good, I am trying to go to the studio at least some everyday, although sometimes I make pretty jewelry I still prefer the bohemian look. I like that the style is more free and not so uptight which is alot like me, I will be the first to tell you I march to my own drummer and stay true to myself to do what I need to do, to create my own style. I think if you force yourself to create something that your heart isn't in to its bad for you and your spirit. I love creating treasures and interesting things, brought back some lovely coral from Hawaii that is actually very smooth of course with the ocean that rough how could it not be smooth. After our jaunt to the beach with Daisy the other day I am inspired once again to do something with the shells and stuff I find on the beach and of course I have some wonderful beach glass that Amy Rowe brought me from the islands and my daughter Crystal brought me from Puerto Rico that I am going to have to so something with all this stuff I think. Thank Goodness It's Friday

I have only been doing a little bit of creating this week, I am having a little time adjusting to Jacksonville because Really only have one friend here, think I need to get out and make some friends. But I really like just being in my studio doing my thing all day long I am going to get started on my sis bday present this year it will be very sentimental for both of us, can't tell you to much I want it to be a surprise and I don't know if she reads my blog or not but it has a fantastic story and will be worth some laughs to you. Got some more herb seeds for my little garden to plant today the seeds I planted for flowers last week are already up. I admit I am a gardener at heart.Going to make some pesto with bowtied pasta this weekend got to go get some pine nuts. Did I tell you I have a pear tree in my backyard today I am making pearsauce kind of like applesauce only you use pears will let you it when I make and tell you how it was.
